The Chevrolet Camaro Personality

Nothing conjures up images of the good old days more than riding in one of the many "pony" cars produced in the middle of the 20th century. The 1970 Chevy Camaro holds a place in the heart of all Americans along with other classics like the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger. While the '64 Stang started the class of muscle cars, the Camaro quickly became one of the most popular cars ever produced. While the vehicle is still in production, it's predecessors were markedly different than what consumers can buy brand new today. The second generation was manufactured to resemble foreign cars like the Jaguar and Aston Martin.

After the auction of the first publicly available production model of the 2011 Camaro Convertible that sold for $205,000, and the release of a single official press image last week, Chevrolet continues to drum up interest for its new topless Camaro with the announcement of a new special edition version that will be showcased in the annual Neiman Marcus "Christmas Book".
