In addition to the side curtain airbags, Ford has equipped the Ranger with 4 ABS disk brakes standard for the first time in its production history. To help prevent roll over and make the vehicle easier to control the Ranger is equipped with Electronic Stability Control standard. Ranger also has a tire pressure monitoring system to ensure tires are always properly inflated.
